An assessment is an objective way for you to showcase your abilities in a way that reflects how you approach your work. Are you focused on the details or more of a big-picture thinker? Share your strengths with us.
Our assessments can be completed remotely and are scored electronically. We pride ourselves in the diversity of our people and the assessment process gives us the opportunity to learn more about you as an individual, while assessing your skills.
But we don’t keep these assessment results to ourselves. After completing an assessment, we will send you a summary outlining your work-style preferences along with some insight into your strengths and the way you work. You can use this report to learn more about your work-style and the type of work you enjoy as you explore opportunities with us.
After completing an assessment your results remain linked to your profile.
As part of the application process, you could be asked to complete more than one assessment depending on the line of business or specific skillset required for the role you have applied to.
What does an assessment measure?
Capabilities that go beyond your resume experience, like:
Attitude and work-style
Problem-solving skills, and
Collaboration
Keep in mind that results from an assessment are not the only consideration that we use to determine if you are a fit for the role.
When will I receive an assessment?
You will only receive an assessment if you have applied to a job that requires one in Canada, US or the United Kingdom and are selected to move forward in the application process. An email from RBC Recruitment will be sent to you with full instructions and a unique link to complete your online assessment. The assessment must be completed within 3 days and should take approximately 45 minutes.
Lorem Ipsum
Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
I felt it was a much more genuine way of getting to know who you are as a person and professional ... not only did it help you figure out the type of perspective you carry with you into the workplace, it prompted you with really relevant questions about yourself--and how that would translate into you as a professional.Ellen He Associate, RBC Career Launch™ Program
