There aren’t many people who can say their first job led to a long-term career. Sandrine Albert can.

She started working with RBC Royal Trust part time while pursuing her Bachelor of Law degree and thrived within the welcoming environment. During her time at RBC Royal Trust, she held three internship positions in the Montreal office supporting various national and regional teams. As she learned about career paths within the company, she realized her limitless opportunities and ability to grow.

After completing her Bachelor of Law and Master of Business Administration, Sandrine decided to come back to RBC to work full time. “I could see a path towards success by working for RBC Royal Trust and that was very important to me,” she says.

As a people person, Sandrine values working alongside caring and passionate individuals. “There’s a deep culture of collaboration and partnership within RBC Royal Trust, and RBC at large,” she says. “It’s a great team and everyone gets along very well and overall, it’s a great work environment to be in.”

With RBC for eight years, Sandrine is a Will and Estate Advisor who develops deep connections with clients and works with their financial advisors to help craft an effective estate plan that meets their needs. By offering clients resources and estate and trust solutions, she helps them with the challenging decisions that often accompany estate planning.

Sandrine is proud of the positive impact she’s made by bringing families together and giving them peace of mind. “At the end of the estate settlement, I have had families hugging me saying how grateful they are for RBC Royal Trust and my help while they were navigating the loss of their loved one,” notes Sandrine.

Her consistent support and expertise have supported many families who are going through a difficult period of life. Sandrine says making a difference is the most fulfilling part of her role. She also appreciates the well-focused leadership and always-learning culture.

“For anyone who is interested in working for RBC Royal Trust, don’t hesitate to inquire and ask questions to other employees. There is a lot to learn about the more enthusiastic and curious you are. Working at RBC Royal Trust is a unique part of the bank that provides many tools and mentorship, with huge rewards.”
