The CFO stream allows you to experience the RBC Global Finance organization, while exposing you to some of the challenges of working in a complex environment. As a specialized finance & accounting professional, you will provide sound financial governance and advice to our partners.
About the Rotations
You will gain hands-on experience as you complete assignments which may include forecasting, modeling, budgeting and reporting. You will provide strategic advice to our partners while analyzing enterprise performance, policy and project management and supporting key initiatives.
Rotations will occur within the CFO Group, supporting either a head office or business unit and may include:
• Performance Management – (Enterprise; P&CB; IS) • Accounting Policy • Strategic Initiatives & Change Management • Enterprise Decision Support • Investor Relations • Corporate Treasury Finance • Wealth Management, Finance • Global Asset Management, Finance • Other areas of the CFO Group where there is a key initiative or business need.
High-performing analysts may have the opportunity to complete an international rotation in the second year of the program – this is based on business needs, it is not guaranteed.
Associates have previously completed assignments in NY, LA, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Trinidad, Luxembourg, Ireland and Sydney.

Skills We Are Looking For
Open to all master-level candidates, in any discipline (MBA, MFIN, MSc, MA).
3-7 years’ working experience
Experience in a business environment, entrepreneurial position, or finance role required.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
Advanced technical skills
Excel skills, including financial modeling; VBA & Macros.
Understanding of financial theory
The ability to apply this knowledge in a practical working environment.
